Mirage Mediterannean Restaurant in Louisville

First time customer, low expectations based on relaxed ambiance and Covid restrictions...and was spectacularly surprised by the food! Every dish was great, the server was great and the baklava was great. Will definitely recommend and will definitely return.

I really expected to like this place alot more than I did. I ordered the chicken kabob with the side salad, rice, and hummus it came with. It all just tasted very average and the rice & chicken was pretty dry. I am a huge fan of hummus and I just did not even find that very appetizing just bland being nothing special at all. On a positive note the staff was pleasant and judging by the way the phone was ringing off the hook the short time I was there waiting for my food it is a very popular place so perhaps this was just a bad day or I did not get one of the popular dishes. I definitely will not be in a rush to eat here again.

Fast, friendly, and good food. We got here late but weren’t rushed by the staff. I had the grilled veggies, flavorful and plentiful. We really enjoyed our visit after a hard day on the road.

Delicious food and nice employees when I ordered! All the starter salads are great, as well as the kabobs and rice.

EXQUISITELY DELICIOUS!! The proportions, presentation, prices and staff are absolutely wonderful. I am so happy they are able to have dine-in again because, while the takeout is just as delicious, it's just not the same without the amazing staff and atmosphere (even with the CDC guidelines). Very clean, comfortable and safe. If I could give more stars, I would!

Best Mediterranean place just outside of the Kentucky Expo center. Good place for a change of pace meal. Very good and authentic.

I’ve passed by this spot numerous times and I wish I had given it a chance sooner - so good! Their gyros are grilled so that the pita is a little crispier than usual, they were phenomenal. Their hummus is delicious as well. On top of it all, they’ve got a great outdoor sitting area and extremely friendly workers. I highly recommend if you’re craving Mediterranean.

Some of the best Mediterranean food I have had. The waitress we had was amazing in serving us well and the food was incredibly reasonable for the portion size.

wonderful food, great service, big selection, and huge portions! The lamb chops are so good! On Fridays , they have a buffet , it's small but worth it for the selection, The hummus and Baba.gnoush..are our favorite appetizers, the grape leaves are delicious!

Stopped in here with the fam for dinner. The service was excellent. The kids were hungry and they brought out pita bread and hummus asap. The kids got chicken kabobs and fries and loved it. They even ate the lettuce their kebabs came on. Hubby got the kebab combo and liked it, I got the grilled veggies and a side of falafel. I do with I had more veggies and less hummus, it was a ton of hummus. Delicious hummus though. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the falafels. They were a little over fried or something. I also got some tea, it was black tea with sage. Very tasty and served in the cutest little teacup you ever did see and a tiny teapot. I would highly recommend eating here!

This place has the best Mediterranean food! I love it here. And it is not expensive. Large portions. Friendly staff!

I like the atmosphere of this place it was nice and clean. There was several great options to choose from. On Friday and Saturday the have a buffet. Also with several different options the buffet prices range from $10.95 to $13.95 depending on what you get but it is well worth it. You will not leave disappointed.

This is one of our go-to spots for wholesome carryout. And, who can resist those desserts?!

I have been a tenant for 2 yrs. At first I was having all kinds of problems with them but they have really stepped up on taking care of my complaints. They come out quickly & take care of whatever is wrong.

First time eating Mediterranean and I was impressed. I went in the the early afternoon and it was empty. I dined in and while there many more ppl came, from all cultures. My friend suggested the chicken shawarma which was great! It came with pita bread and tzatziki sauce and your choice of salad. I chose the Greek yogurt salad which reminded me a lot of cucumber salad (Greek yogurt, cucumbers, parsley, and garlic I believe). For a beverage, I ordered Greek tea (I think). *my friend knew a lot more than me and pretty much ordered everything for me* he paid the bill so I'm not sure how much it all came up to, but everything's pictured.

Always tasty, fresh food and fast service. I come here every time I'm visiting Louisville as it is a great value for the price

Very delicious food! We stopped in here on a whim and we were very pleasantly surprised. It was so clean and the service was superior! The tzatziki sauce was to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Pleasantly surprised by the food. I had the lamb kebab and it was very tasty. (I had asked for no pink but it was a bit pink any way.) The hummus was delicious. I believe it was made in house. Generous portions. Excellent wait staff. Prices were fair. I could actually have a conversation with my friend because the music was not too loud. The only thing that bugged me was that the pita bread was not fresh. Seems a shame since everything else was so good.

Excellent food & fantastic service at a reasonable price. I had lamb kabobs with rice as an entree and walnut baklava & Turkish coffee for dessert. I was impressed!

We usually have good experiences at this restaurant. Great food. The last two times we have been here we were disappointed with the tv. It was really loud and it was on a channel that was not family friendly. Please just shut the tv off or turn on sports or something. Turn on family friendly shows only.

Open during this pandemic and worth the drive! I usually upload pictures with my reviews but by the time I got home we just dove right in. We got two chicken sandwich Shawarma’s, falafel balls, and baba ghanouj. Everything was great very tasty definitely would recommend what we got and we’ll go back to try other things for sure

Food was excellent. Ordered the chicken Kabobs with hummus and baclava. Food was ready within 10 mins. Salad tasted fresh, chicken was well seasoned and rice was just right. The baclava was amazing. I received a nice big piece. Definitely would go back.

I have been going to Mirage for the last year exclusively as my Mediterranean fix. I have had others, I can say Mirage is consistant and provides good options. I am a fan the food here. Plus they have a really good dessert selection.Pictured below is Kayala and Turkish Coffee

Location was easy to get too and prices were good. Food was good I enjoyed it only issue was the pita bread wasn’t as soft as usual other than that all was great!

I went here for the first time today and got the Mirage Special as a way to sample their food. I was so glad I did! Everything they had was absolutely amazing! So many options and flavors. And it didn't hurt that their service was fantastic. I'm getting excited thinking about when I'll be back here!

My family and I come here every so often for a rare treat, it being a bit far away from where we live. They always offer great service and great food. The staff are always friendly and smile at the customers. And, despite what other reviews have said, I've never seen the staff act poorly to any of their customers. Amazing place, definitely recommend!

Portions are spectacular! Service is phenomenal! chicken and beef shawarma are a little dry, would be better if served with taziki or tahini sauce , didnt ask for it.

Some of the best and well-seasoned Mediterranean food I've ever tasted! The people are friendly, the prices are great, and the food is delicious. Even better, if you just want a small comfort meal on a rainy day, they have lentil soup and toasted pita bread for $2.99!!! That alone will fill you up. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. I could go on and on.... Just go try it!

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant! The food is great and the prices are more than reasonable. I first visited a couple months ago and have already been back five times. The black tea served in warm metal teapot is great. I highly recommend Mirage if you enjoy Mediterranean food. Located right next to Louisville Toppers on Preston Highway.

This is a disgrace to call this food Mediterranean. I've never had hummus that had a weird aftertaste like this almost like it's bad. And I've never had gyro meat saturated oil. Beard was hard and tough. Someone had to room temperature sweet pickles in it. The black olives were just black olives out of a can oh, they're not even Greek. Sorry I had chunks of red cabbage in it. To say the least I've had better Greek salads in a cafeteria at a school. No Greek dressing. It was drizzled with oil. For $30.00 100% disappointed. I called back to get a refund told the owner that this is an edible and he said "really!" I said "I've never had a Greek salad with canned black olives, they're not even Greek black olives" he said "well this is just our food and everybody eats it." Just rude disrespectful.

Who would have thought you could find phenomenal Mediterranean street food in the middle of Kentucky? As someone who spent my college years subsisting on New York Halal food, the gyro and beef shawarma over rice were absolutely delicious. I cannot recommended this enough.

Didn't like most of it, at all. Our entire table of 8 disliked everything except the warm pita bread and hummus. It was cooked well just didn't like the taste. Not what were used to

I would give 4 star to the restaurant because lamb was little undercooked even though I asked for fully cooked lamb kabob. Food was delicious and enjoyed it fully. Must try pita and hummus

First experience there. Fast servive. Employees very courteous and friendly. Amazing food and restroom was super clean
